Mackinlee Waddell

Mackinlee was born in dallas texas, her love of performing in front of large crowds whether speaking at an event or performing a routine at a cheer competition prompted her to try out an acting class at the age of 13. Mackinlee found her passion and sacrificed all her other extracurricular activities to focus on developing her skills as an actor. She immediately was signed with a local Dallas agent and within a few short months caught the eye of an LA agent and began auditioning in the Los Angeles market. Mackinlee Waddell landed a recurring role as Mckinney Peacham on the hilarious ABC dramady, GCB, alongside such heavy hitters as Kristen Chenoweth, Leslie Bibb, Annie Potts and Jennifer Aspen, who played her mother, Sharon Peacham. The show was created by Robert Harling (Steel Magnolias) and Darren Star (Sex and the City). Prior to landing GCB, Mackinlee had done a few short films and several independent feature films such as Searching for Sonny starring Minka Kelly and Jason Dohring and most recently a large supporting role in Den of Darkness which filmed in Los Angeles and is showing big promise in the independent market. When not acting, Mackinlee loves to read, dance, play the guitar and come up with unique comedic characters that she incorporates into her improv acting troupe. She also continues to do numerous charity events for The Children's Miracle Network each year to help raise money for non-profit hospitals. She has trained at The Groundlings in Los Angeles, Ca. She was a competitive cheerleader for 8 years and a school cheerleader for 2 years. She will be attending The University of Texas in the fall as she had been chosen as 1 of 16 to get a BFA in acting at the University.
